We stayed in one of the Castell cottages in June 2023 my family and I needed a well-deserved break and we chose the Castell Howell for our choice.

Once you set foot on the grounds you are enveloped into a world of space peace and tranquillity. Our host Jasmine was so helpful and accommodating, she made sure that our needs and wants where me and provided. Would definitely recommend for families and for that romantic getaway.

Staying in the cottage was a wonderful experience. It reminded me of the days when I used to go camping as a young teenager. It's peaceful, you hear the bleating of sheep, see fields of grass and wild flowers. In the mornings, I would start my devotion in the cottage and end it on one or all of the 3 lovely walks, ( depending on how energetic I was feeling). As soon as you leave the cottage, and turn right, lapping up the beautiful views and thanking God or His creation, you were on your walk enjoying the beautiful scenery.

When we booked this place for our visits, we didn't realise this will be a beautiful countryside decorated cottage. Amazing surroundings, absolutely peaceful and breathtaking nature around. Jasmine has decorated each corner with her artistic expertise and feels so therapeutic. We as a family had a great time with her doing her art therapy session - never thought this will be reconnecting me with Art! If you are looking for something peaceful , therapeutic and a break within beautiful nature - this is the place!
